This coffee feels like a classic cup of coffee, but with a sweeter twist of vanilla and a hint of malt to round it off. Perfect both as a morning cup or as a treat in the afternoon.
The washed process involves removing the coffee cherry’s outer layers through fermentation. After depulping the coffee cherries, the beans ferment in water, separating fruit from the beans. This method enhances the clarity and brightness of the coffee, often bringing out the coffee’s acidity and highlighting its unique origin flavors.
Soto is a collective of coffee farmers in the Nariño region of Colombia, renowned for producing high-quality coffee. The farmers cultivate multiple varietals at high elevations in the mountains, benefiting from rich volcanic soil and a favorable climate. This year’s coffee comes from approximately 20 farms in the area. The project aims to expand to include even more farms in the future, ensuring fair prices are paid for their coffee.
